This class is a combination of both Geography and Kansas History.  The first semester will deal with an introduction to world geographic terms and information.  We will learn how to use maps, how to identify different physical features of the world, how climate effects us, and how the world is broken into different political states.  Kansas History will be an overview of the beginnings here in Kansas to how we've grown to be a great state.  We will look at physical regions, early settlement, "Bleeding Kansas", our government, and take a look at those individuals who have made Kansas a great place to live.
